The location and grounds are attractive, although it isn’t on a beach! Our room was clean but the walls needed repairs and a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast was very limited.

There was a lot of factory and highway noise some nights. Good room, clean, sink area was pretty small. A wire by the shoreline preventing going by the lake was quite annoying. The lady who staffed the front desk and breakfast area was awesome.

We Had An Awesome Stay At The Beach Inn Motel. The Room Itself Was Very Clean, The Only Reason For The 4 Star On That Issue Was The Dog Hair Left On The Balcony. The Staff Was Ok, But Ran Out Of Items On The Breakfast Such As Tea Bags & Other Items. No Elevator Here & Parking Is Limited But Beautiful Sunsets From Well Taken Care Of Grounds Or Balcony.

We loved the outside seating in the lake. The room was clean and comfortable and it was a great base for our stay. The breakfast was a bit basic, not much choice - we would have expected a better breakfast for the price we paid.

Quaint little inn with nice big yard overlooking the water. All rooms overlook the water with balcony on the second floor. Be sure to ask for first floor if you can’t climb stairs. We managed the stairs ok. Sparce continental breakfast but will get you by. Just a few miles into town and to Painted Rock visitors center and Munising Falls. We did not find very many dining options in Munising - several pizza places.

Off the back of the room there is a wonderful yard with lots of outdoor seating and area for dogs to play. It has a nice view of the bay especially at night. Free bags of ice as well.

Not the greatest, overpriced.
Very basic and dated old school motel. We usually like this; but when walls are moldy, paint damaged, someone else’s mascara on the towels - oh, and the door frame was cracked from being kicked in. The blind on the window would not open either by pulling it up or twisting the slats open, defeating the purpose of a water view. Breakfast extremely basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but didn’t make up for the room. Overpriced but the location on the lake is probably the reason. Stay somewhere else, pay less, drive to the lake for the view.

Great place!
It's a lovely place. The back yard has chairs, grills, tables for use. Fun to sit out there in evenings and watch the beautiful sunsets. Very comfortable place, clean, tidy.

Huge grass backyard overlooking the harbor
Comfortable stay in a dated room All rooms face Lake Superior. Bottom rooms open to a large grass backyard with chairs Breakfast consists of bagels, danish or toastable frenchtoast.

This is a nice motel with friendly staff. The rooms are old and the amenities are similar to what you would expect 30yrs ago. The location is good, view is nice, beds are comfortable. If you don't like poofy pillows then you should bring your own. Big back yard area. Breakfast was basic continental. If you stay here you should manage your expectations. I don't think they advertise as a 5 star hotel and it's not. It's a 2 star motel.
