I would stay again.
Overall the room was clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast was average to good. Could tell the staff care about the business. The hot tub was out of commission our second night.. that was the number one reason we picked that hotel. So that was a bit to be desired. Also the beds REALLY need to be updated.

Cool rustic-themed hotel with an in-house convenience store. Not exactly remote, since it's on a highway, but it's some distance away from nearby Munising. It felt relaxing. A campground and a small casino are nearby. The only negative was the lack of a coffee maker in the room but there is free coffee in the store if you're staying there. This is a good option if you want to be away from the more touristy scene to the east.

It is a very nice, clean, and very well maintained motel. Excellent restaurant across the street, Foggy's, and cute casino with the Christmas theme through the parking lot.

Beautiful area - there were 2 different beds in our room. 1 hard 1 a little softer. Neither were comfortable. For what we paid for one night - the mattresses should be upgraded. The staff was great, clean room, nice place.
