The staff did an excellent job. The issues with this property is that there were fruit flies and gnats everywhere. Three different on-site restaurants/bars and in each place, we had to put napkins over our drinks so the bugs went fly in. Terrible! Our room was sub-par and smelled of paint. This place was definitely not worth the value for the price.

Several staff members could use a refresher course in hospitality. I have never experienced such rudeness at a hotel of this caliber. From check in to bartenders and waitresses. Given the choice I would not stay here again.

I would like to say I am very pleased with our stay here at the Hotel Grand Traverse Resort And Spa in Williamsburg, Michigan. The property is absolutely beautiful providing beautiful landscaping, entertainment, and great amenities. The customer service was good from start to finish. Great activities, guides, and fine dining. I would highly recommend this stay. It was an awesome getaway. The shuttle transportation to Turtle Creek Casino was a bonus. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We will consider reserving in the near future.

Not worth the $$$$ for a basement room
For the price I paid, I believe it was not worth it. I was under the impression that I will stay at the tower instead I was given a room in the basement under a restaurant. Pools close at 8pm during weekdays and 9pm Friday and Saturday. The only thing I like was the ability to go to the beach club. At check in the receptionist do not provide any information regarding the resort. You basically have to ask or do your own research to take advantage of the resort restaurants and activities.
