The staff was not friendly, nor very helpful. For example, they were extremely negative when we asked if they would make a dinner reservation. The lobby bar was not open the entire 6 day stay and only open 2 mornings for coffee. You had to pay for coffee and the dining room by card or cash, you couldn’t charge to the room. And they informed us of this 3 days into the stay by a letter left in the room. We asked for 2 extra towels 3 times and never got them. We stayed over New Year’s Day and at 10 in the morning nothing was opened, they closed the breakfast buffet and you could NOT get coffee anywhere, including the room that only had tea. The bathroom was clean but the shower soap dispenser had to be replaced, The cover of the Kleenex receptacle and plastic sanitary bags kept falling off. We had to completely remove the drain cover so it would drain. The bathtub was a very high, dangerous step with no grab bar. If we didn’t have the heated towel rack to grab onto I don’t know how safe it would be. We will NEVER book here again. The only thing this hotel has going for it was the location.
