You’ll either love it or hate it - we were unfortunately the latter. Self check in with no staff around to tell you basic information about your room or the hotel. Basic amenities missing from your room such as tea/coffee, tissues, other bathroom items. Apparently the hotel provides free coffee before 8am - this information we found out on day 2 by chance. Rooms are very small so be mindful if you are an international traveller with 2 medium sized suitcases - there will be limited space to walk around in your room. Might be perfect for a business traveller - wouldn’t recommend if you’re staying for longer than 2 nights.

For us it’s a good location. But services continue to deteriorate. Room is not comfortable but it’s New York. Beware of the bed platform in this hotel.

The hotel is cool, but there is no service. I called ahead to let them know it was my wife’s birthday and to get help to arrange something nice for her. Though the person on the phone was very nice there was no one to speak to at the hotel. There was no option to have champagne or chocolate sent to the room. For an expensive hotel it lacked the service element for a five star experience.

There is a water pipe valve banging noise constantly. Sounds like a water pump. The noise continues throughout the day and at night. Noise from the roof top bar can be heard until 2 am. Hallway carpets are filthy. Sheets had stains on them. Staff is not service oriented at all.

The rooms are super small and lack items in rooms such as shower caps, Q-tips etc. beds are essentially mattresses on the floor and although they are relatively comfortable. The cost of the room does not match the experience.
