Great Location and House

We loved our stay here! It was absolutely beautiful and serene. We had 8 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and the house was perfect.

Not the getaway we paid for

We encountered several issues while staying at the Chubby Bunny Lodge. 1) The A/C unit leaking water into the adjacent bedroom. The room smelled like cat pee and people could not sleep in it. 2) THE ROOM SMELLED LIKE CAT PEE. 3) The hot tub was not make available to us the entire stay because it was drained while we were there! 4) Prior guest linens on front porch for 2 days 5) No recycling 6) Stove burners not working properly. These issues really put a damper on the stay and people even had to cut their time short due to the smell of cat pee. I would like to see some kind of reimbursement for all the inconveniences we encountered on our stay. Not having the stove top burners working properly is unacceptable. Not having the hot tub drained and cleaned BEFORE we arrived is unacceptable. Having the prior guests linens on our front porch for 2 days while we stayed there is unacceptable. What are you going to do to rectify the circumstances we encountered at our stay at the Cubby Bunny Lodge? Frustrated! Patrick Hamm

House was very nice with a well-equipped kitchen. Spacious. Quiet neighborhood but close to skiing, tubing, restaurants, etc. Spectacular views from the back of the house. As advertised. Maybe better than advertised!

Great Long Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at the property. The views are beautiful and the listing pictures don't give it justice. Check-in was automated and without any hitches. Plenty of activities to do in the home. It is in a sub-division on a quiet cul-de-sac so we enjoyed biking around the neighborhood. Some of the mattresses were hard and lumpy and may need to be replaced. Other than that the house was very clean and impeccably maintained.

Not worth the price

My friends and I felt that there was a lot of things that were broken when we get there which made the stay less enjoyable. Examples a bunch of the chairs for the deck and fire pit were broken the sliding glass doors were very hard to move. The view from the deck and the yard space was not what the pictures made me it look like.

Nice 4Days in shoulder season/end March

We had a lovely time in this beautiful home. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub, and the neighborhood was good for biking! We went on many nice hikes and enjoyed the last day of the mountain coaster too.

Amazing house in an amazing location

Beautiful, spacious and clean!

We could not have been more impressed with this home. It was perfect for our stay. We had already been at an other property at DCL and decided to extend our stay. We chose this place with a few days notice. The place was perfect for our family, in fact we probably had way more space than we needed. The location is very private, although there is a new home going in next door, we weren't disturbed at all by it as there's a buffer line of trees in between. The view is very nice and you can see the windmills south-east of the lake, about 10 miles away. You also have a water view from the deck and living room. This will certainly be on the short list for the next time we go to DCL.
