Very disappointed....we have stayed at this Avid several times while visiting family, but you have lost us as a customer.....we, along with staff could not get us online with wifi and had to use our phones....will stay at Hampton next door to Avid from now on

I liked the 24 hour coffee and tea available, the gym, and how close the hotel is of the zoo and a lot of eating options around. A wafle machine in the breakfast could be an improvement.

I would stay here again.
The two women at the front desk were so helpful, professional, and kind. I have not received service like that in a long time. One of women's name was Shauna. I don't remember the other name. They are a great asset to this hotel. The lady in charge of the breakfast was friendly and also the lady who was cleaning the bedrooms. We didn't want our room cleaned because we try to be conscious of waste. When we left our room and she was in the room next door she make a point of asking if there was anything we needed. I thought this was wonderful service.

The hotel is clean. The staff is great. The woman who sets up the food for breakfast was awesome. She went out of her way for all the boys they are playing baseball and their early start. The rooms were nice. It was just more of an efficiency apartment a little smaller than I’m used to, but it was great

My recent experience at the hotel, and let me tell you, was a real adventure! My room felt like stepping into a sauna with the air conditioners that couldn't keep up with the heat—super humid! I switched rooms thinking it was just a fluke, but no such luck; the second room was equally sweltering. My check-in was a bit of a wait—over 5 minutes! I felt like I was in a game of "Where's the Front Desk?" I rang the bell, called the hotel, and then called the 1800 number before getting someone to appear. On the bright side, the staff was super friendly! Just a heads up, though: the wallpaper in the first room’s bathroom was peeling like an old banana. The showers were tiny, and cleanliness was a bit questionable. But hey, the pillows and bed were comfy, even if the sheets felt like sandpaper!

Odd smell when we first walked into the room. Phone didn’t work. There were the last visitors key cards left in the room. Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Both need to be firmer or replaced. Couldn’t find the iron. Other than that bathroom was clean and bright.

Located 30 min from the cruise port, was great for our stay without breaking the bank. The room was cozy yet perfect for our 1 night stay. Everything was clean. The continental breakfast was also good.

Modern decor and feel. Very nice room overlooking the neighboring zoo. The breakfast area was nice with lots of seating options. The selections were okay. Not as plentiful as the Hampton we stayed at later in the trip.
