The first class hotel of choice in New Orleans. The Christmas Decorations are a special celebration unique to the Roosevelt. It will be a bit crowded at time, especially during the Teddy Bear tea the weekend before Christmas.

Not like my past stays at the Roosevelt
Check in took a while there was many people in line waiting and only 2 clerks behind the desk, My room was very musty selling and I lowered the AC as needed, it did not get cooler we called downstairs and they stated a teck will arrive, we never saw that and maybe he came after we went to dinner? But after returning to our room the AC was still not cooling so we called again to state we coundn't sleep in a hot room a person came around midnight and just handed us a key to a differnt room 2 floors down, so we had to grab all our things and move pass midnight, the 2nd room was fine

The lobby and main areas are beautiful, room is a little dated. Housekeeping not good, the toiletries used don’t get replaced, the food crumbs on bedsheets from breakfast were not removed, the bed was remade without cleaning sheets. No one answers the the phone when you call from the room, tried multiple different options

The property is a gem in New Orleans. It’s classic and if you are lucky enough to be there around the holidays it is stunning! Being on the west side of Canal it has a slightly less touristy feeling and has less of the drunken crowds that come with the Quarter. If you are into the Quarter fun, it’s just a quick walk across the street.
