What a gem of a place. Staying on my own I felt safe and cared for at this friendly facility. The added bonus of a Shakespeare play in the garden on the night of my stay made it extra special. Exceptional value. I will be back.

Nice place if a bit 'corporate'. Had a slight issue over an offer on our key card which should apparently have been crossed out but in the end they did honour it. Room was fine. Food and drink a little slow but they do get very busy with all the outdoor tables. The guy serving at breakfast was exceptional (didn't get his name, USA accent). Would stay again.

It was fantastic! Honestly I cannot fault it, the only thing I’d suggest is a thin mattress topper so that you can’t feel the buttons on the mattress. Staff were lovely, everything in the room you could want. I appreciated the little bottle of semi skimmed milk in the fridge, and bottles of water!

One of the better hotels I've been too
The room was very comfortable. Nice food in the pub restaurant. Friendly staff. The only this was that I found odd was, the booking in for the hotel Had no area but was at the end of the bar.

Excellent friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. I wonderful place full of character and charm. Good food and a wonderful breakfast! Super dog friendly, which is a big bonus. Very welcoming and friendly – highly recommend.

Very good stay
Very good stay. Rooms very well equipped and everything worked as it should. Rooms in a separate building to the inn with its own car park next to the entrance so very easy to transfer luggage. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant also up to expectations.
