This was a very disappointing stay. When I arrived the lobby was empty, but when the staff arrived at the front desk she was very attentive. She asked if I needed the handicap room I was assigned and I said no, that room was supposedly the only room available to me. She reassigned our room and that’s where the problem began. There was a pile of dirty towels left outside our room. We got into our room, unpacked and got ready for bed. The room smelled really bad. When we pulled the bed linens back, both beds had been slept in, there were black specks of something on the sheets, and many hairs on the pillows. We notified the front desk. Her solution was to reassign our room. We repacked our stuff and went all the way to the other side of the hotel. In this room we found the beds clean, but the shower spigot had water streaming from it that we could not make stop. The coffee machine did not work so we had to go four floors down to get coffee from the lobby. I reported those issues, but nothing was done about it during our stay. It was the Thanksgiving weekend but these problems should not have happened regardless. I’m not happy paying their high prices for such a negative experience.
