Managing grief our process one day at a tme
It was a hard but some what relaxing trip for my husband and I to try to find some peace after loosing our oldest son in a house fire. Even with all the sentimental Christmas music playing all over town. One employee even came to our room to reprogram the tv that was not working at all. Every one was so kind with out knowing the reason for our small get away.

There was a fly and a bug in my room. My back will eventually recover from the bed. The shower water pressure was like a trickle. Watching television from the bed was difficult because the tv is so much lower than the bed.

The pool and hot tub were open upon our arrival but by morning they were remodeling them. The pool was ice cold and the hot tub was cloudy - glad they decided to do some work. The breakfast was disappointing at best. There were few guests compared to normal so very little food was available and what out was not very good. Chewy eggs, hard chewy potatoes, and the thinnest bacon ever (once it was finally put out)! The bagels were good, the cinnamon rolls were good. Plenty of juice, milk, and coffee. The rooms are spacious with a nice eating area. The shower is huge, bathroom is spacious and plenty of toiletries are available. Linens are comfortable, beds are very firm. This was first visit to this hotel - 35th year visiting the area doing business with local farmers. We generally rent a house but were only in town for the night so we chose a hotel - not very impressed but not totally disappointed. The area is perfect for first time visitors or those if us who run the entire area doing business every quarter. Be aware that most restaurants close by 7pm.
