Nice hotel with a pool to spend a night with the kids, the downside that the pool stays open only till 8pm, wish it was a little bit longer, cause there is not.so much to do after this time at the hotel.

Not great. Much smaller than one in Lake Geneva. Everything had set, limited hours like the dunks donuts, ice cream shop and waterpark which was limiting and annoying. Maybe that works better for families with younger kids. You have to walk through the area with arcade and other activities to meet water park, so kind of a long, cold walk back to your room after swimming. There are very few places to just sit in common areas of the hotel, service is really, really slow at coffee shop and front desk never seemed to have anything you tried to ask for. The upside is the staff is all really polite and they do a good job keeping everything clean. I don’t think will go back, we have the similar venues that we prefer.

We planned our annual roadtrip vacation this year to visit the Mall of America. When I saw there was a Great Wolf Lodge so close for around the same price as other hotels in the area, I knew this would take our vacation to the next level! We have taken many trips to GWL in the Poconos and love it. The Bloomington location lacks some of the “wow” factor of the Poconos and looks run down. No hot tub. Small wave pool. Not even slides. The slides we rode were a lot of fun though. I had the best cheeseburger in the restaurant and the buffet breakfast was fabulous with a great selection and hot and fresh. Definitely a good stop but not as great as I expected.

This is a happy busy place. All of my encounters with staff were lovely. Kind, helpful and mostly happy people. The hotel is full of kids and family groups.
