This was our first time staying at GWL and we would definitely go back again. Our kids (ages 4 to 19) enjoyed the water park and activities at the hotel. We spent a day at the Mall of America since it was a half mile from the hotel. Our room was clean and our floor was quiet. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like the fact there wasn’t enough accessible parking, or there wasn’t enough elevators, or the fact that they charged you for parking. My son celebrated his 11th birthday there and I bought him I guess it was a New package for birthdays. As we were going around doing the scavenger hunt. People didn’t know what to do so it was confusing. Otherwise it’s a good place for children.

Room smelled like someone was smoking

I came back and my room smelt like someone was smoking it took over a hour to even get someone to answer at the front desk and even longer to to have someone to come check the room. Room smelled disgusting the whole time and they didn’t care

The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of things to do with the fam. Unfortunately there were limited food options and food available was overpriced.

The property could be cleaner. The staff was sometimes friendly but not helpful. They did not explain things to the kids. The water park closed too early. They closed attractions before the time the attraction time was supposed to close. I was disappointed that they didn’t have a hot tub.
