Located in a charming, gated community of only 23 houses, The Sun Kissed Kottage is the perfect Destin getaway for the avid beach goer. This house is just a short stroll away from the emerald, green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! The Sun Kissed Kottage is tastefully decorated with vibrant furniture and includes access to the large community pool, club house and exercise room. 2 cars only. The Community BBQ Grills available but cannot be brought. We provide our guest with Beach service Mar - Oct. This is a great value!

What to do besides enjoy our wonderful beach...

Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short 2 mile drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within walking distance to Cayenne Cottage. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come.
For evening entertainment, Destin is known for some wonderfully upscale eateries, as well as your regular fare. Friendly night life and nearby state of the art movie theater.

The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a vacation in its own right for shoppers you will have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Panera Bread, Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.

More great shopping can be found at the Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to rattle off a few. Stop for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread, Tony’s Ristorante or Sushi Siam. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. Water surrounds Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, creating an abundance of water sports available, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more!

Great week away!
All was great! House was even better than pictured online. Only issue was the upstairs hall toilet seat. It Kept loosening and we continued to fix it. Could have said something to manager, and I am sure she would have sent someone to fix it. But it didn’t bother us at all. Our stay was great and house was comfortable. Walking distance to beach and restaurants.

Great for a family of 10!
Kathy was exceptionally easy to communicate with. She took the time to answer all of our questions. The home was very clean and stocked with all the things we needed to cook the 4 meals we prepared. For those planning to cook, I travel with our crockpot and this was the first condo in 20 years of us coming to the beach that had a crockpot! They also had beach toys, a playpen, a baby gate, and a booster seat that we great as we traveled with a baby). There is a 3 minute walk to the beach which was great. There was no problem crossing the road with the little kids. I would recommend staying here again.

Family Vacation 2023
My family and I enjoyed our stay on Cottage Row. The house was clean and true to the pictures online. The small community is clean, quiet, and close to several restaurants. The beautiful, white sand of the Gulf is a short two minute walk across the street. The community pool is well maintained and we enjoyed meeting folks from all over the US. This was our second time staying in the area and will definitely stay here again.

Great location for a girls getaway
My friends and I had a reunion in Miramar Beach, and this we the perfect house for the 7 of us. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, and the kitchen met our needs for breakfasts and lunches. The location was great for walking or driving a short distance to some local restaurants for dinner, and the beach service was a nice bonus. I would totally stay there again.

Outstanding location
Our family enjoyed the neighborhood feel to the community. It was quiet and secure. The house provided us plenty of space and bathrooms. It was helpful to have the foyer downstairs to unload from a day at the beach. The pool was a nice addition to activities.

Perfect Location
We enjoyed our stay in this rental! The location is perfect and Kathy was very helpful! We were very disappointed that the community hot tub was not working for half of our stay, but we loved the community pool. Also, just wanted to mention that the master shower really needs a good cleaning.

Very disappointed with my beach rental!! Wasn't clean enough
I didn't enjoy the stay!! First of all we couldn't get into the rental no codes!! The neighbors were horrible watching us making my guest feel uncomfortable!! The sheets on the bed were nasty and I have been in better beach rentals wasn't worth the money or stay!!

The entire process of renting this home was easy and flawless. I had a few questions I wanted to check on before booking and received answers to my questions very quickly. Everything was as described. The home was nice. Short walk to the pool and a small walk to the beach. Loved the fact that two chairs and an umbrella were included in our rental. The water in Destin was amazing! The property owner, Kathy, was great to work with. She left suggestions on where to eat and things to do. Trust her list. Ha! We ate at a few of the places and they were great suggestions. Happy with our stay.

Mother’s Day family vacation
Stayed here for Mother’s Day. Brought my whole family. My husband and I both brought our mothers. The space was perfect for our family. It was cozy and felt like home. Perfect location and set up for families!
