Management has shady business practices
This place is nice. Great location. Management's shady business practices left us with an overall bad experience. I've booked many properties on VRBO in the past and I've had great communication with the VRBO owners and most request around early check-in and/or late check-out were granted when available. This was not the case with place. I knew before I booked that I would need a late check-out on Sunday because we were traveling with an infant I was playing in a golf tournament early Sunday morning and wouldn't be done until about 1pm. Checking out at 10am and driving around with a infant for 3 to 4 hours before a 5 hour car ride back home would be a recipe for disaster. I found this property and saw they mentioned a late check out is available upon request on their website, but I wanted to call the management office to make sure be cause I didn’t what to be in the situation I just mentioned. I talked with the office and I was told as long as there is no one booked for Monday that we should be ok for a late check-out as long as I called them Saturday morning so they could inform the cleaning crew. So far so good. We go down Thursday Night and get check-in and everything looks great. Friday is perfect with no issues. Saturday morning take a turn. I called the office about the late check-out for Sunday as I was told to do I the lady I talked with told me that late check-out is unavailable. I told her that I called and confirmed with her office that I could have a late checkout before I booked this condo. She said there is nothing she could do. I looked on VRBO and there was no one scheduled to stay there until Friday so there should be no issues. I asked to talk with a manager. The manager apologized and said there is nothing they can do. It’s policy due to their Covid Restrictions. Trying to brainstorm a solution we had a thought that since no has our current place booked for 5 days maybe we could extend our existing reservation to Monday and just pay for an additional day. I call the office back and asked to extend my current reservation to Monday and without hesitation, no mention of Covid Restrictions I was granted the extra day and charged accordingly. We still had to leave at 1pm on Sunday but we had to pay for an extra day just so my family could stay in the room for an extra 3 hours. I game them a good piece of my mind as professionally as I possibly could but this is bad business practices right here. I wont be back.

This was our second time staying at the Summit! We loved this room so much! Couldn’t have asked for a better staff on site and a better vacation. Everything was clean & perfect! We wanted to stay there forever!

Online photo matched physical aesthetic of condo. Nearby Walmart, shopping store outlet. Away from high area of tourism. Enjoyed relaxing & taking part of amenities resort offers. Great vacation, safe environment. Even seen few military buddies vacationing here.
