Located on Scenic Gulf Drive, Summer Breeze 204 aka "The Pelican's Hideaway" is centrally located on the sugary white sands of the Emerald Coast. This second-floor unit at Summer Breeze 204 is perfect for couples or small families providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 6. The private balcony is perfect is enjoying the sea breezes and watching the sunset. You have two great options to enjoy your day outdoors! The master bedroom is well decorated with a king bed and attached bathroom. Two built-in twin bunks are conveniently located in a private hallway with an attached privacy door. Finally, there is a queen-size pull-out sofa located in the living area. The kitchen has cabinets, granite counters and appliances. The complex also offers charcoal grills, washer/dryer and internet service for the entire complex.

The location of this condo is great, and it was relatively clean. But we had enough issues to not be able to recommend this listing. When we arrived they were still cleaning. The door and lock are difficult to work. The oven did not work and we had no hot water- my husband flipped breakers and fixed those 2 problems. When we asked the property management company about the pool key, they texted back “

Black Mold in Bathroom

This condo would be five stars but we noticed that there was BLACK MOLD in multiple places on the bathroom ceiling during our stay. I contacted management when we saw it and they just said "we would check with upper management". Never heard anything and it's been almost a week since then. Also a few places on the flooring were soft when stepping on them so there is definitely water damage inside the unit. Also they just give you a "starter kit" which is one roll of paper towel, two rolls of TP and two trash bags. For a couple probably fine for a few days but we were a family of 5 staying there 6 nights, for the price of the unit it should be fully stocked. We knew it going in. The pros of the unit are the location is great, its right across the street from Miramar Beach Public beach so super convenient, and we were there 4th of July week and while there was a good amount of people on the beach we never had an issue finding a spot on the sand. (Companies setup chairs and umbrellas every morning, you can setup your stuff in front per city code so don't be intimidated to do so). Pool was clean and nice to jump in to escape the beach. Balcony has decent view of the water and you're right over the pool. Always had a parking spot near the unit. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and utensils to cook. Close enough to the harbor in Destin where it was about a 15-20 minute drive but far enough to feel like you aren't in the hustle and bustle of it.

Great Location!

This property was in a great location right across from the beach. We were able to walk to the beach and to a restaurant just down the street. The decorations were beautiful and really made us feel like we were home. Love this unit. Would definitely stay again.

Fun at the beach…

Great little cottage across the street from the beach and walking distance to pompano Joe’s. Two words for this little condo: Charming and functional. Only one drawback-no washer or dryer. There was also an issue with door lock that I’m guessing the rental company is addressing. Love the place, will stay there again.

True to pictures

The pictures of the property was spot on. Perfect location and accommodations in condo was perfect. However, the beds were absolutely awful! We all had a hard time sleeping. I mean you could actually feel the springs in all beds. Not exaggerating. My back ached the entire time!

Place was beautiful and location is perfect! Great for family or couples. Place was cleaned other than the pullout out sofa which smelled horribly of urine!! Couldn't use it at all. Beds were hard and couldn't sleep due to it. Kitchen was so small you could barely open appliances without hitting cabinets and their knows. But other than those things it was great! Tried to message the property manager back but no response from them about the sofa.

Really awesome place and area

This is a perfect spot for getting to the beach to get some sun. This place was very comfortable for the 4 of us. It has great spaces for all of us to get some needed relaxation. This is somewhere we would love to return. It is right across from a picture perfect beach. The great white sand that you dream of. Great pathways to walk all along the coast. The owners/managers were very proactive in ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We didn't have to talk a lot as this was really a great place and had everything we needed. Ice kept up for the 4 of us. We read that there were issues maybe with the fridge? We didn't experience any issues at all. Wifi was really really good. One of the really better wifi we've had while traveling. But the area and the southern hospitable vibe of this place and area was exactly what we needed for spring break. Thank you!
