The reservation was made for my father and myself, in my name, for 2 nights in a handicapped room. My father arrived first and was able to change the reservation to 1 night in a non-handicapped room. The reservation was supposed to be no cancellations, no refunds. My father has early dementia, and in his mind he didn't need any accessible features in the room, and he could drive home late at night after the funeral we were attending. So, he ended up falling off the toilet because he couldn't get off of it. In the end, I received a $25 cash refund for the loss of the handicap room and were able to stay the 2nd night. BUT THE IMPORTANT QUESTION IS: WHY DID THE STAFF ALLOW SOMEONE WHOSE NAME WAS NOT ON THE RESERVATION (OR THE PAYMENT METHOD) CHANGE THE RESERVATION? Makes me have all sorts of security questions. Definitely will never make a reservation for my wife here, especially if she is traveling alone.
