Very nice historic old hotel. The staff were wonderful. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance, though we discovered that a lot of them are closed on Monday. The hotel is also close to the cruise port.

Very well located. Easy walk to dining and historic homes and museums. It is an old building. Lot's of quirks and cracks. Could use a touch more TLC but it is so charming and soaked in history. Front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our romantic stay.

I have stayed at the Malaga Inna few times with total satisfaction. This stay didn't meet my expectations. I requested a king room but was given a room with two double beds. The desk clerk changed it for us. Our room was smaller than the previous stays. No headboard. The shower could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. The lobby smelled musty. This inn has bee a favorite. I hope the management gives it some love.

Could be a gem if properly maintained.
Staff was wonderful, however the hotel had some issues that the owner needs to address. Our first room was not the room we booked and had no AC. (box fans when we arrived) The staff was able to move us after the first night (it was a 3 day stay) to a beautiful new room, however, that room had no hot water.

The staff was the BEST! The garden in the center of the propert and gaslights AHMAZING! Our room was on the first floor and loved every ounce of the charms very clean and very warm and welcome property! I hope we have to stay again soon! Thank you to the staff.

Booked in advance for an August 10th stay. The day before the stay they cancelled the reservation due to their air conditioning was broken and said they would send everyone a refund the following week. It’s been over a month and still NO REFUND. Liars and cheaters!

In need of an update
This hotel has a lot of potential. You can tell that at one time is was a great property. With that being said it is in need of major renovations and upgrades. Upon entering the lobby the hotel has a very noticeable musty smell. The rooms are spacious, but they do not have a microwave or fridge. Also the bathroom needs to upgrade the shower/tub to a walk in shower. The bathtub actually had a shower curtain. I haven't seen a shower curtain in a hotel in a long time, and I do a lot of traveling. The floor boards in the bathroom needed to be replaced. You could actually see the insulation. The doors to the room are old, they actually still use keys. I haven't seen keys at a property in at least 8-10 years. The hotel does not offer any food, and there is a large room on the property that could easily be used to offer some type of food. However, with all of that being said, the hotel does have a lot of charm. It is also in a great location within walking distance to restaurants and its in the middle of downtown. I think with some investment, or maybe getting taken over by a large hotel chain this place can be restored to its former glory.
