Water went out in city and discovered our trash cans were cracked and leaked when we tried to get water from pool for toilets

I had to clean the A.C. filters because they were nasty.Room was comfortable.Towels seemed low end!Room price seems a bit High!Lobby clean!For an outside motel it was fairly quite with very little riff raff going on like other hotels in the area.

Mockingbird Inn a Good Choice
We enjoyed our stay at Mockingbird Inn. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The carpet is a little worn and could use some cleaning. Some of the furniture is showing wear and could be replaced. The lobby and breakfast area was very nice, and the food was varied. The only hot foods were waffles and oatmeal or pastries that could be heated in a microwave. But there was plenty to eat. Our biggest complaint was that the wash cloths were dingy and towels were well worn. With just a little effort, this could be a top-notch motel. We enjoyed taking photos of the exterior of the building with the sign and mockingbird house out front. The motel isn't downtown, but is only about 5 minutes away from the historic old courthouse. There are also restaurants nearby.

The price was right.
The beds were fine,the tv worked, the staff was nice and reacted immediately to issues—like the mold in the bathroom ceiling and stained towels. The bathroom had a new tub shower one piece, but the bathroom baseboards were stained and dirty.

Rooms were older but neat and clean. Check in process was super easy and front counter staff was friendly. We stayed two nights. It was raining so there were a lot of construction/road work people who were staying there. There music was a little loud, meaning you could hear it when your tv was off, but not enough to complain about.
