Cutest cabins
I’ve stayed here many times but this was the first time I stayed in one of the cabins ~ it was great. We only wished it had a bigger table for meals .

Not happy
Could have been better, I fell in shower when I mentioned to them at check-out they should have non-slip mat in shower I was told they had them available if I had asked. I told them I didn't really think of it until I fell and was told sorry but never asked if I hurt myself or anything else. Will never stay there again.

It's ok
It's an old run-down motel with poor fixtures few amenities old mattresses that is all reflected in the price of what you pay. Staff is the best part of this hotel as they are very accommodating. The price goes up on the weekend because there's live music with no cover.

Overall for the price my expectations were exceeded. Staff was very nice and check in was easy. We had planned to dine at the Smokehouse Restaurant and although Google claims it's open until 9PM on Sundays, they had closed at 5PM, so that was disappointing. The bedding and pillows were a bit worn and lumpy, and the dead bolt latch on the back of the door was missing, but overall it was clean and very quiet.

We didn’t go into this cabin expecting luxury but what we got was very disappointing. The cabin was very dirty, smelled of smoke and mold and you had to stand in your dirty water to shower. The website talks of high cleanliness standards, that is just not true. Every inch if the cabin was dirty, there was even blood spattered on side of bathtub. The floors and cabinet for clothes were filthy. The back door was inoperable due to broken handle. The cobwebs everywhere told the story of how often the cabins really get cleaned.

We had a lovely, quintessential Tennessee stay here. Being from the UK, we absolutely loved it. The staff were great, the place is a great price and we had a great time at the restaurant with live music. Awesome stay!

Definitely older rooms but maintained well overall. When we checked in they had plenty of suggestions on where to visit in the area. Always appreciate the tips. Small bar behind the place has decent food.
