My check in process was stressful! I stayed with my child and was given the single bed instead of the double bed . I had to go back to the front desk to report it , then i had to wait for another extended period after already waiting initially for another room. Finally after we were assigned another room, when we arrived the room cards did not work to open the door. I had to return a third time to front desk to program the cards. Also there is mold in the shower, they need to apply bleach each time when cleaning to prevent this from happening. I reported this to the Guest manager Mr Weston/Wesley, he stated that he would give us access to privilege services for the last day of his stay however I did not receive what was promised. That was disappointing!

The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, and I especially enjoyed the swimming area— it was one of my favorite features. However, the breakfast experience was a bit disappointing, as they frequently ran out of various items, leaving limited options to choose from.

First time staying at the property and brand of resorts. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the property. Staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary trip memorable. There were some parts of the beach that were not impressive. I am a beach person so that was definitely disappointing. Pretty to look at, but not to swim. There was extreme low tide on one side of the beach where you couldn't swim, but the other side was fine to get in. They do a great job of cleaning the seaweed. Food options are pretty good considering it's a resort. Sugar Cane has authentic local cuisine, portions are on the smaller side, so just order enough. Drinks were good, get the blue drink called Feel the Ocean when you arrive! We stayed in a swim up room and it was very convenient. The room was very clean, the shower tiles in the bathroom could use some updating. Shows and the evening bands were our favorite part of the resort. Booking excursions is super easy in the main lobby. Overall we had a great stay and are looking forward to coming back soon!

The check in was a disaster. It took us 7 hours to get a room. People who came after me in my same room category was accommodated before me. Then we were told they forgot about us. Got to the room no electricity near the door and over the bed. No one came to figure out what was wrong. Two guest checked into a room One wash cloth, we requested a few more we checked out and never got. NO HOSEKEEPING WAS DONE. We left for breakfast about 8:00-8:30, we returned about 1:30 the rooms were never touched. The young lady comes knocking on the door. We told her that we had a wedding to attend and was getting our clothes etc ready she says well she’ll come back at 3. I said that would not be possible can you come a little later. She said that she has to go on her break and then leaves for her home at 4:30. She then said that she will submit a request for the evening crew to come clean for us. We returned from the wedding NO CLEANING WAS DONE. However, staff trying to bribe us to give good reviews. I will escalate this. I work hard for my money and expect to get what I atleast paid for. We couldn’t even use our swim out as the people next door openly smoking marijuana. This is the worst ever. I will never return to this property.

Likes: 1.Staff was amazing and eager to serve you. 2.Hotel was very clean. 3. I loved that pool was open late and you could walk around and see the stara at night without harassment. 4. Showers were hot!! Cons: 1. Far away from everything. 2. Taxi to the airport was $70 3. Almost missed my flight because they forgot my wake up call. Overall I had a great time.

Everything was on point at this resort. Very unique with one exception, the beach area needs to be dealt with. Great place to stay, great food, great people!!!! Thanks for the wonderful and unforgettable stay. You guys took care of our entire group of almost thirty people as if we were all an individual. Great Resort. Cannot wait to return. Thanks again
