This hotel is superbly located but that is it's best feature. The rooms are very basic. There is no wardrobe, no telephone, no carpet and few (if any) wall furnishings. There is air conditioning but the remote is at reception. There is also a TV with just the basic, terrestrial channels and again, no remote in the room.
The bathrooms are small with nowhere to unpack your toiletries and you will only get bulk, liquid soap (of a dubious colour.) There is a hairdryer.
That said, the staff are friendly and helpful and if you you are aware of what you're getting into and do not mind eschewing your creature comforts, then this place is for you!
I slept well here. My room was at the front but the double-glazing kept out all the noise. I also had a look at the tariffs of nearby hotels and this one is at least 1/3rd the price of those, so I slept even better!
Getting here is so easy, as the tram stop is just outside, the St Roch station about a 3 minute walk (honestly) and the main square about the same.
Would I stay here again? Yes, I would - unless it was a special occasion and I wanted to treat myself or my companion.
