At first, we just thought the hotel was a property that had just seen better days, like a movie star who was 40 years past her prime. But the issues began: no soap in the bathroom or tub, coffee maker that didn’t work and then at 8 o’clock at night we discovered long black hairs in the bed linens.
The folks working at the front desk were always very accommodating: they got us soap for the bathroom, they got us a brand new coffee maker, and they gave me brand new clean linens. I had to make my own bed at 8 o’clock at night!!! I found the mattress to be filthy as there were no mattress covers the mattress. (What?!?) Rather than sleeping on top of someone else’s filth, I went ahead and flipped the mattress. This seems like a lot of stuff that went wrong and I would like a big chunk of money back. Def not going back though the service was good at the front desk. Oh, there was a decent breakfast in the morning, although the eggs were pretty cold. But it was a good spread.
