Welcome to Beachin View Villa! Perfectly situated directly on a 4+ acre Lake Michigan frontage lot. This three bedroom home has 183 feet of Private sandy beach. The amazing views are some of the most unique you'll ever see as this extensively custom engineered home is literally built at the peak of one of the highest dunes in the area. With an elevation approaching 100 feet, and virtually no trees to obstruct your view, you can see for greater than 10 miles and nearly 180 degrees of blue Lake Michigan waters without even stepping outside. No need to lower the window treatments and block out the breathtaking views of this extremely private location as it is located in the exclusive, safe and gated North Gray Dunes Association. Catch a glimpse of shipping freighters as they pass by in the distance while enjoying a cup of coffee, espresso, cappuccino or cafe' latte (coffee maker, espresso machine and coffee bean grinder supplied). Watch your children as they play on the beach below or play on the private swing set just steps away from the water's edge.
Enjoy a competitive game of sand volleyball on the extensive soft, sandy beachfront. Play a bit of catch with a baseball and glove or toss a frisbee with family members while barefoot on the beach. Walk for miles along the beach while framed by a beautiful picturesque Lake Michigan backdrop. Enjoy a peaceful paddle along the shoreline in the two supplied kayaks. Turn a keen eye to the sky and the tree tops, and you just may spot one of the local American Bald Eagles searching the waters for food to feed their young. Recall simpler days as you reconnect with family members over a board game in the luxurious, view filled, four season room. Pitch a tent up on the beach for the kids to enjoy an evening at a private lakeside campsite. Relax with a glass of wine as you witness some of the most amazing sunsets you'll ever see. Enjoy smores cooked over the fire pit, or observe planets and other views of the universe through the provided electronic drive and computer controlled Meade telescope with some of the darkest skies Michigan has to offer. This is the perfect private beach retreat. Fantastic!!
This was our 2nd November trip to this property, and loved it again. They HAVE EVERYTHING THERE. Toys galore, sand toys, dogs water bowls, booster seat, EVERYTHING. A snow storm came thru, and the owners checked in, with directions if needed. We will be back. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

Amazing view!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want. The view is stunning and worth the hike up the mountain. The walkway was a bit slippery on a frosty morning, but we used the provided "trax" (spiked covers for shoes) and they worked great. The host was having a fridge issue during our stay, but they made sure we had a working fridge and offered clear communications about when we could expect a repair person to arrive.

Fantastic Home and View of Lake Michigan!!
7 family members and I rented this beautiful home on a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The check in and check out process was seamless. The home was spotless. We used the kayaks and bicycles that the owners made available to guests (the Hart-Montague bike/pedestrian path, about 5 miles away, is one of the best we have ever been on) and spent many evenings on the two decks overlooking the water. The home is remotely situated in a wooded HOA but Whitehall and Montague were a short drive away and we spent time in these towns (and other neighboring towns). Peaceful bliss was this home. Pat C.

Fabulous
Beautiful home. Everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. No crowds, friendly neighbors and dog friendly beach. Close to town so we could pop over to the grocery store for supplies. Loved sitting on the top deck for dinners and watching the sunsets. Our kids kept saying this was the best vacation ever! Thank you.

Great summer getaway
This was our second visit here. My husband and two teenage sons had a wonderful week here, enjoying all the beach had to offer. The owners were very receptive when we reached out, and they really thought of everything you could possibly want or need. We especially loved the bikes, the fire pit, kayaks, and the two-way radios (a great idea when you’re down on the beach and don’t want to make your way back up the stairs for a forgotten item). The private beach was incredible and often we were the only ones out there. The house was very private and secluded and we saw deer right outside our windows on multiple occasions. We had magical sunsets nightly and enjoyed amazing star gazing. A great time to unwind, recharge, and create memories with my family. Highly recommend.

Amazing views! And private beach
We had a great stay at this house. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. Love the beach supplies as well. The walk up the boardwalk to the house is a little steep, but the provided electric cart helps a lot with groceries and luggage. There. Are many steps down To the beach however, ! You are rewarded with a Beautiful soft sandy private beach and the Crystal clear lake Michigan! We walked several miles every morning down the beach in both directions.. Can’t wait to stay at this house again.

Great Family Vacation
What a wonderful property! It was clean and very well appointed. The views and beach were spectacular. Our hosts were superb and supplied water and battery charges when the power went out due to an extremely strong storm that affected the entire coast. The communication with our hosts was very responsive. We had a lovely family vacation and would love to plan another stay

Stunning Views at Every Window
The views were stunning at every window of the house. The house was clean and equipped for all your beach and kitchen needs. Only one negative for me, I love a nice hot soaker/jet tub bath at the end of a day sometimes, the water hardly filled the tub and the water went cold. Just be aware that there are.lots of steps to the house from the garage and to and from the beach; not conducive for elders to manage.

5th visit, 5 more stars
This was our fifth stay at this house, and we had another wonderful week. Every day in the all-seasons room is a new experience, watching the lake and sky change color and texture, and, if you're lucky, leading to a magnificent sunset. Plenty of beach to walk, often all to yourself. We saw deer walk the beach after sunset, and a bald eagle land in the sand with a catch. We made fires with wood we found on the beach. My wife watched the full moon set over the lake early one morning. Nearly every room offers a view of the lake, and the lake breezes and soft sound of waves crashing is the perfect way to fall asleep. Highly highly highly recommended!

Incredible views
My sister and I had a great time. Perfect weather most of the time. We took those steps to the beach every day. Although not easy, I made it with two artificial knees and an artificial hip. I highly recommend it! The house was perfect. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The linens were high quality. The beds were comfortable. I loved the sound system. The four season room has incredible views and comfortable furniture to sit on and enjoy the views. The views from the bedrooms were perfect. While there we visited Claybanks Pottery Studio, the Country Dairy Farm (sandwiches and endless chocolate milk were great!), Cherry Point Farm and Market, Fox Barn Market and Winery, and Bardic Wells Meadery. The last was recommended by the hosts and I'm glad they did. The owner of the Meadery was very entertaining while we were tasting. This was a perfect vacation for us.

A perfect staycation
We took our children to the lake for a mini spring break adventure and could not have been more pleased. The home was clean, there was so much attention to detail from the game closet to the snow & beach gear (it’s March in Mich- we used both 😂) and the host was super helpful and responsive. The views are exactly as pictured and simply breathtaking. The dunes are peaceful and quiet, the waves were amazing to listen to at night. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal Home/Views!!
Best VRBO experience yet! The pictures in the listing do a great job conveying the home/property, yet can't do them justice when compared to the real-life experience. The views are incredible, the house is laid out perfectly, well-appointed, with every detail any renter could ever think of taken care of. Cozy, beachy, comfortable, we loved every second of our stay (even after the trek up the ramps/stairs with our gear). Sue and Joe were very responsive and flexible. We wanted a secluded place to relax and take in the views of spring/winter on Lake Michigan, and this home knocked it out of the park! 6/5 stars!

Unimaginable access difficulty
On our arrival date (2/19) we received a message from the Host that snow was present and that we would need to utilize several items, they have staged, to address and navigate the difficulty of a snow & ice coated 2-tier wooden decking ramp with a 10 deg incline angle for over 300-350 ft long. Upon arriving we had 2-3" of snow with an ice base underneath. The motorized cart, the Host provides, could not climb the ramp. Contacted the host & He advises me to utilize the track propelled snowblower in the garage to clear the rampway & then apply salt. Could not get the snowblower started so spent considerable time & effort to shovel off the boardwalk leaving enough of a snow covering for traction to pull a sled up the incline to bring all of our items, for a 6 day stay, up to the home. Once at the top of the ramp we now faced snow covered stairs that had to be cleared in order to go & down safely. 50 ft walkway to the home was also snow covered & icy. It took over 3 1/2 hrs to tackle the rampway & bring our possessions up to the home. Used the provided webbing spikes, the Host provides for assisting traction, but still required multiple trips up & down using a sled. My wife & I were physically & mentally exhausted after the ordeal. Next day we salted the entire ramp distance to remove the remaining ice base. The home is beautiful & views stunning but if you rent this unit in the winter the Host expects you to deal w/this rather than them contracting the task out.

Spectacular lakeside house
This house is set on a spectacular hill overlooking Lake Michigan. The house was clean and cozy, and we had a wonderful time walking along the beach and taking in the lake views. We were rewarded on our last morning with a bald eagle perched on a tree right outside the window. If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the snow-trax shoe coverings on the sometimes-slippery walkway!
