The problem with this hotel is that even the non-smoking rooms stink of cigarette smoke. If you are a non-smoker, do not stay here.

A true bargain hote in a town well worth visiting.
Tremendous location right next to the train station - with wonderful shopping a few steps away, and a short walk to buses to special places like the Snow Monkey Park. Great decor. Friendly, helpful staff. And, the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had, at a price half of that charged by similar hotels. The bathroom was large and comfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Affordable and connected to the Nagano train station. There is a nice shopping area nearby as well for gifts for family and food for yourself in your room. Highly recommend this hotel!

Although the room was small, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They stored or luggage early before check-in and then the next day after check out. Pillows were very lumpy.
