I've stayed in this hotel several times because I have family in the area, and I've really enjoyed my stay every time. The hotel is affordable, extremely clean, and well maintained with an incredibly friendly staff.
Rooms are a standard size you would expect for any Japanese business hotel: a little on the small side, but perfectly manageable. Just know what expect. Beds are very firm, much firmer than I'm used to, but I always find that I don't mind. I've also found rooms to be very well sound-proofed and have never once had an issue with noise inside or outside the hotel.
Room reservations come with a free breakfast buffet that includes both Japanese and Western cuisine. The menu changes each day, but some items remain constant. Eggs, bacon, ham, sausages, fish, pasta, curry, fried foods, vegetables (broccoli, salad items, etc.), soups (including miso), rice, tea, coffee, orange juice, grapefruit juice, a variety of rolls and jams/jellies, etc. are just some examples of breakfast items I had during my stay. You can also get freshly ground and brewed coffee in the lobby at different times of the day for free.
Plenty of food and shopping options are available within walking distance of the hotel. Drugstores, supermarkets, and restaurants are surprisingly plentiful. You can walk to the train station at a moderate pace in about 15-20 minutes.
Overall, a great stay. I love this hotel and look forward to coming back in the future.
