We booked this hotel to go to a concert nearby. It turns out it was only two blocks away and super convenient to walk to tons in the area. The location is fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was seamless. They even had welcome cocktails upon our arrival. (They do this at happy hour.) Rooms themselves feel like they could use a bit of a facelift, but everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Would recommend Holston House and would stay there again.

Just stayed at this hotel and loved every aspect of this hotel, Except the mattress. We stay Thursday-Monday and every morning waking up my Husband and i’s body were sore as if we worked out the day before it would take all day for the soreness to go away but then we had to lay in it again. If they could update the mattresses I’d give them 5 stars.

Great little hotel in Nashville. Entrance is underwhelming and there are stairs up to the lobby if that’s an issue. Just off Broadway a few blocks from the action. Feels a bit unsafe at night as there isn’t much else in the immediate vicinity but it’s not far from Broadway and there were people walking on Broadway. Room was spacious and looks like it was recently renovated. Bathroom door is a barn door type door so doesn’t close all the way. Staff were lovely and helpful. Did not eat at the restaurant. I would recommend.

Great hotel and Fantastic location
It was really great. The staff was very friendly. Very cute boutique type hotel. Small elevators, but totally fine. I didn't love the hard floors for sound and just less comfortable. We were moved into a larger room because the first room (my sister arrived first) was SUPER SMALL and would have been cramped for two people. They were lovely about helping us find a larger room when they found a cancelation.

Weekend trip to Nashville with friends. Checked in to this hotel. Very friendly staff and helpful. Practically on broadway which was great for the nightlife. Didn’t try the on site food but did have some of the complimentary drinks during check in and it was very refreshing. This place is very instagramable. Liked the art deco/music themed vibe. Nice rooftop with bar and pool. Very quiet stay and beds were not my favorite but I really think it’s just personal preference so I didn’t hold it against them. Would stay again

Outstanding hotel stay!!!
We were upgraded when we arrived due to the fact my husband was celebrating his 70th birthday! Our son surprised us with champagne & a sweet cake treat and the hotel presented it beautifully when we entered our hotel room. Love the rooftop pool!! The free pomegranate vodka cocktail in the lobby was such a lovely free surprise. Barista was outstanding in the Cafe! We WILL return.

Rebecca working the front desk is a valuable employee, she is pleasant and very helpful in what is going on around the hotel and all the tours. She was very helpful in pointing out the records and sent us a player so we could listen to music in our room. The concierge were also very helpful and a joy to be around. They too recommended places to eat for us. This was one of the best stays at a hotel I have ever had. Please let the staff know how we enjoyed ourselves and they were the biggest part of that. If we ever come back we will stay here again.

Cool place but subpar pricing policies
Really nice place but really disappointed by the amenities fee? It’s not like the price of the hotel isn’t enough to address the convenience of said amenities- like convenience of the bar and restaurant that would also cost additional money the only other one is a pool that I’m certain would not be open at this time of year- kinda seems more like it’s a nice place that takes advantage of people who have money that they can keep squeezing out of you. Not trying to be rude or mean cause it’s a nice vibe just don’t believe you should have to pay an amenities fee of over $20 when they don’t even have a parking lot. That seems like more of a useful amenity than a restaurant that will still cost you money and bar that will also cost money and a pool that may or may not be open. Anyone who may stay here that is reading this also may want to know you will also need to pay at least $57 tax and all to park across the street to stay at this hotel. Overall, nice place but the owner truly enjoys money to say the least!

Strange small lobby entry with stairs that makes it a little hard to get luggage in. The rooms are nice but small and have a unique layout. It was a little hard to get around the king bed. Great location that’s convenient to Broadway and other hot spots.
