While I am happy to have graduated from OU, I am sad because it means I don’t have a reason to come back and stay here again. The hotel is perfectly kept, but not overly formal or stuffy. The staff are polite, friendly, and accommodating, which was welcome after a long cold drive. The pictures at the ends of the halls of the university and student activities made it seem more “homey”. The restaurant Cutler’s was excellent as well. It was a bit crowded only because it was the winter graduation, but even then it wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed my stay even for the quick graduation trip, and I hope I find a reason to go back at some point.

Great location and very clean property. The rooms are updated and quiet. Close to university if someone has an event. We were in town for family Christmas and the property was close by. We would recommend it.

Consistently just right.
I stay here at least twice a year for business travel and consistently the place is exactly what I expect. The restaurant and the tavern are excellent, friendly and professional. There is a really nice large lobby area so if I need to have meetings with a few colleagues, I have a space for that. They are also very respectful of the business traveler. For example, there was a group in the lobby being a little loud, so I was invited to move my small meeting into the tavern. Space Since it was quiet that morning. That kind of respect for the business traveler was excellent. The rooms are always neat and well-maintained, the front desk staff are always very courteous, parking is easy. There is a charming outdoor area, but I never seem to be there in good enough weather to really enjoy it.

Very old hotel but convenient location
Good location for visiting if you have a student at OU. Doesn’t meet the standard of hotels I’d normally go to as it’s very old, even the renovated area but again - it’s so close to campus that it will due for a quick visit.
