I had two rooms for a quick visit with relatives accompanied by my brother. We stayed 2 nights. On Saturday morning, he reported a minor but annoying complaint - the toilet was continually running and he was bothered by the noise. He was told there were no maintenance staff on the weekends. Housekeeping cleaned my room but not his on Saturday. The old Holiday Inn Express sign was clearly still visible at night on the building. Not enough handicap parking. Poor lighting on parts of the parking lot. Nice lobby. Staff friendly when they weren't taking a smoke break out front. When we returned to the hotel Friday night, the person who was supposed to be at the front desk was outside smoking and asked us if we were checking in. When we told her we were registered, she replied, "Good. I needed this break". Free breakfast was OK: did have hot items including sausage and biscuits, some type of egg, etc. limited fresh fruit. "Hot" oatmeal was DIY using hot water. Limited breads, rolls. Few other hotel options in the area.
