We were there early in the morning off of a cruise. Was told we would get a call as soon as a room in our category was available. Did not get a call. Showed up at 4:10 and of course keys were there so obviously there was a room available so where was our call? Hard to believe a room did not become available all day. Then elevator was broke. Knowing where our room was. Literally the furthest possible room away on the 4th floor away from the service elevator you would think we could have been offered help. Myself and my daughter had 2 large suitcases, plus backpacks, bags and more. The girl took us to the elevator and said our room is on the fourth floor. Then we got in went up and realized we had to go down several halls and up a flight of stairs with all of our stuff. We were more than frustrated at this point. I then called down to see if we could get help with our bags when we leave and of course the answer was no. No Bellman there at that time. Not that it mattered as no help was offered in the first place. Honestly not impressed. I had asked if something could be placed in the room as it was my daughters 30’th bday and we were in town celebrating it. Was disappointed to see absolutely nothing. Not even a note saying Happy Birthday. I had originally booked another hotel which was going to put a bottle of champagne in the room for free for her bday but I had cancelled it to book this one as the reviews were so great! Definitely a big regret. I could go on but have no room!!
