Some of the hotel staff ate super nice, while others are a little short tempered, but i feel like that comes with the city, everywhere you go. Super affordable though, and quite close to most ammenities. The hotel itself is in relatively good condition, aside from a couple imperfections here and there, but the area around the hotel is really rough. Ive started mapping out routes to walk down because one street i walked down and saw some very unpleasant things, while other streets were tame, but needed work. Overall, i think id stay here again, i had one person at the front desk who is so wonderful, and really made me feel welcome to be here. Also, if you dont have a car, id recommend booking the hop-on hop-off pass for the week. The bus brings you around to all the excited stops around the city, and one of those stops are just across the street from the hotel. I will say, even though this jotel is affordable, everything else in the city is not, so just be careful and plan out your meals if that's an issue.

The hotel was nice, the staff wasn't helpful when it came down to restaurants, but again wasn't very much they could recommend. However they do need to stock better soda choices in the gift shop. Other than that its close to the pier and that was what i wanted.

Only issue - I was on a cruise ship that was held up a day due to hurricane Francine. I called the hotel through the contact number provided in the app to confirm I would be arriving a day late and only staying 1 night. However when I arrived they had cancelled my booking as a no show and had no notes about my call. Front desk was nice, but it took a while through hotels.com to get it resolved. Fortunately I was refunded and able to do a new booking for the night.

I did not like the idea of paying $45 per night to park. That put a big dent in my expenses. This was my first time in the state and I wanted to be mindful of my spending. I specifically filtered my selections to free parking only to be surprised by this fee upon arrival. No bueno! In addition, the garage is attached to the building - why is parking so expensive?

I didn't like the fact that it said if you need extra towels call and they will be brought to you. STILL WAITING, never received them, and the parking was not free and that was one of the reasons I choose this property. Is should be put in big black bold letters, that parking is not free, which ever the case may be.
