~1,600 square foot, charming Victorian walking distance to the new Whole Foods, red line street car, the new VA and LSU Hopital complexes. 1 mile from the French Quarter, CBD (downtown) Super Dome and arena, and quick interstate access.

In New Orleans we call it a "shotgun, camel-back." That means each room comes after first in succession. There is a second floor that is only half as long as the first floor, forming the camel's back. This is true New Orleans flavor!

Full size mattresses downstairs are brand new memory foam gel.

Centrally located without being in the middle of everything. Several billion dollars of new construction hospitals have gone up 5 blocks away.

The neighborhood is mixed-income. If this is your first time in New Orleans or don't know how to handle yourself in an urban non-tourist area, maybe reconsider. However, if you know that you don't need to walk down every dark alley and know the major roads, you will have no problem.

COVID-19 INFORMATION as of February 3, 2021:

• UNIT CLEANING - We will sanitize the unit including all surface tops, floors, and all linens after every guest. Living room furniture and dining room chairs/ will be wiped down w sanitizer after each guest. We highly suggest you bring a bottle of sanitizer or sanitizer wipes for your own use for coming and going during your stay.

Dog Requirements:
• If any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask prior to booking.
• Please let us know number of dogs, breeds, sizes, and ages.
• 3 dogs maximum per stay.
• Dogs are typically $100/stay for the first and $50/dog for additional, however we reserved the right to increase or discount based on size and length of stay.
• Confirmation that dogs are actively on a flea preventative during their stay is required.
• Expectations are for all pet waste to be removed from grounds - bagged and placed in trash bins - prior to departure or additional cleaning fees may apply.
• Unfortunately, due to insurance requirements, we are unable to welcome dogs that are primarily Pitt Bull, Rottweiler, German Shephard, Doberman, American Staffordshire, Akita, Great Dane, Chow, or Alaskan Malamute.

If you find you have less guests than your original booking, 1 price adjustment may be made prior to your arrival. Refund is 50% of additional guest fee up to 1 week prior to arrival.

Great Space for a Group!
The property perfectly matched the description - the beds and rooms were set up great for the 8 people we had. A very unique layout, but it added to the New Orleans fun! The neighborhood is not the best, but being from Baltimore we knew how to handle ourselves safely, so non-urban people just be aware of that! We had some trouble calling Uber's because a lot of them would cancel on us once they got close to the home, but the house is very safely set up and provided all the comfort we needed. We didn't end up using the backyard area, but it truly is a wonderful spot and matches the pictures in the listing. I would absolutely recommend this home to a group looking to spend some time in New Orleans and would definitely stay here again myself.

This is a historic home in a convenient location to the French Quarter and other attractions. Parking is in the busy street in front of the house. Several nearby busineses and apartments draw concern for safety, but had no crime issues during the stay; maybe it was the multiple security/flood lights directed at the house windows from the mechanic shop next door. The cleaning service needs to be monitored as the sheets were not clean/changed containing unknown fluid stains and hairs; the floors were dirty and found lots of dead bugs. My son was awakened by a roach crawling across his face. The Property Management company offered to send someone to "clean up a bit", but we had already washed/sanitized the sheets ourselves and swept the worst areas. Day 2 the central A/C went out. A technician was sent out, but unable to fix it. Luckily the adjoining unit was available with A/C and the Property Management provided us access for the remainder of our stay. The technician did come again the next day, however we were on a tour and had dogs in the unit, so he did not enter. This is a historic house with character. Be advised the back half slopes tremendously. The greenway/park space nearby was pleasant. Several restaurants (Dooky Chase, Neyow's Creole, etc.), coffee houses, and Whole Foods store within walking distance. French Quarter is about 15 blocks (30 min) walk; daytime only.

Homey spot with awesome back patio
This place was perfect for our stay in New Orleans. Not only is it very close to downtown but also close to Fair Grounds Racetrack which is where Jazzfest is. The Vrbo was clean and completely met our expectations. We had so much fun spending time on the back patio listening to music and playing games

Group of friends and I needed a big enough, affordable place to stay that was also close enough to the action of downtown Nola for New Years Eve/the Sugar Bowl. You are able to walk or even take the trolley to Bourbon, Canal, Superdome, etc in minutes. This ended up working out great.
