We stayed for 5 days. The first room we were assigned was no properly clean. We went to to lobby and the front desk man gave us another room. That was better clean. It is an old hotel but is comfortable, somethings need repairs and updating. I like how quiet it was our room. The location is excellent walking distance to main attractions. There is not 24 hour staff in the lobby only during the day. We had a early flight and we found out.

This is the first time staying in this property and it was the greatest experience! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Upon early arrival, our room was ready, clean and comfortable. We stay in the top floor with no balcony but the room was very cozy and nicely organized and decorated. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The room was in a corner and was very quiet.

Excellent location, in a beautiful part of the French Quarter, and walkable to shops and restaurants. Despite the location, the room was surprisingly quiet. The staff is very helpful. The only area that needs improvement was that the room was in need of maintenance, the night light and coffee maker didn’t work and the closet door didn’t open properly, but overall we enjoyed the hotel. Highly recommended.

The good: All of the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for the French Quarter. Close to everything. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The not so good: It was dark and very cold. Even with the a/c off we needed an extra blanket. Our first room was small and had cracked peeling wallpaper, the hallway on the top floor was very bashed up. They moved us to the third floor with a larger and much nicer room and it was better preserved. Room service was spotty - and one day our bath mat needed to be thrown away -it had holes and was torn all down two sides. With a facelift this would be a good value stay.

Beautiful courtyard. The atmosphere of the hotel was just what I wanted—it felt very old-world New Orleans. The staff members were all extra nice and helpful.

I really liked the hotel and staff. The street noise was a bit much. And our room had disability access which neither of us is disabled. Our bed made a horrible creaking noise on the left side getting in and out of bed.

Great hotel in the quarters right off Bourbon street. Close enough to enjoy but far away for peace in the evenings. The on-site coffee shop is a gem must try and the bar was great as well. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Paytony at the front desk was a gem with giving us a courtside patio.

The staff is amazing. Coming back to the hotel every night felt like being welcomed home. The room with the balcony was absolutely charming and perfect. The beds are very comfortable. Vacherie restaurant on the ground floor was our favorite breakfast place. The area around the hotel is fun and lively and the courtyard is a quiet place to relax. We loved our stay.
