This hotel has not seen an update in 25 years. Carpets are old and shredded. Our room had stains all over the walls, and that was after they moved us to a “deluxe” upgrade. I have never been so disappointed and the name “Sheraton” no longer stands for anything. I can stay in a better hotel for half the price in any direction. Also, Orbitz reviews are no longer reliable. Very disappointing.

Check in was a 20 minute wait and when we got to our room, we were given a room that was dirty. After being told to call the front desk which was another 15 minute wait, one person said they would clean the room while the other said we had to move rooms. After moving rooms the rest of the experience was pleasant, just annoying to get the run around for about an hour instead of enjoying our vacation right away.

Property was convenient to restraunts, and French quarter and warehouse district. Hotel was comfortable and clean. I gave this hotel an average rating because we checked in prior to arrival and had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready well after scheduled check in time. Also, they had a planned water shut off during our stay which would have been fine if they'd let us know in advance. We didn't know until the water was not working.
