I stood at this property many times when it was a Marriott owned. I was surprised to see how unclean and lack of updates since then. Breakfast at the hotel has to be the best part of the hotel at this point and that’s VERY sad to say about a once great hotel.

Our stay was phenomenal. The property was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The only thing that was a downfall was the parking situation but it is in downtown and the lack of parking is pretty common.

Kia offered excellent customer service! All of the staff I encountered was friendly! Great selection of breakfast. My upgraded room was beautiful! There were a few missed spots in cleaning but it wasn't an issue. I would definitely stay there again!

I love this property because when we are there they treat us like family. Our son goes to XULA so we have to make frequent trips to the area. We have only stayed at one other hotel in the area so we call this one home. My only complaint is the parking situation. We have to stay for a couple days at a time and to pay 45 for parking seems extreme. Other than that my husband and I love it.

The hotel needs to improve tremendously with their cleaning service, there were dead bugs in the room upon arrival. The toilet was not working properly and around the hotel there was human poop. The staff at the front desk was Nonchalant most days. The breakfast staff was much more polite.

Good place to stay, bedrooms are clean, modern, you have what you need. Kitchen have the utensils needed. Breakfast is good, have good options available. Staff very polite. The place is always clean. Recommended.

This was my second stay at Sonesta ES. What a difference a year makes, because it's seemingly become more popular since my first stay. As well, this time around, the grounds were not as neat/clean as the first time - but they were still not that bad. The room served our purpose - appreciative for that. Also, I wish breakfast could be extended to 10am, lol. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay again, as long as service continued to be above average; my room clean, comfortable, functional and quiet during my stay; and the grounds kept as neat as possible. Staff is/was friendly as well.

The elevator floors were covered in gunk and smelled putrid. The rooms smelled musty, bedding was dirty, counters were dirty. Sticky stuff on the remote, and the carpets were filthy

1 week stay and not once did the room get cleaned, towels changed, etc. Called several times to request the room be cleaned and nothing. Never appeared once.
