Walking distance to Canal. Perfect location. Clean and friendly service. Beautiful interior. Only thing that is a pain is parking, but if you are use to “city life” then you can manage.

I didn’t have any problems. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing I didn’t care for were the thin walls. Overall, we had a good stay.

The area wasn’t the best; saw a lot of homeless people and a rat in the area. I stayed in a different hotel prior to coming to this one, so in comparison the Troubadour was darker (felt less cozy/safe), elevators are old and outdated, and the lobby isn’t as nice. The room itself is fine and decently clean, however the thermostat was non functional.

New Orleans troubadour stay
Our stay was definitely interesting.The staff was super friendly and attend to our needs.The quality of the room however was another story.Super outdated, Rugs were definitely not clean before our stay.Holes in the ceiling.Scuff marks everywhere also our bathroom door was missing a doorknob no trash bags for the trash cans.No tv streaming services SUPER outdated tv ! Bring a Roku or fire stick before leaving we went to make the bed and discovered a huge stain on the mattress itself

When I arrived I had several things that did not work. I didn't get much help on how to fix these, including the TV. I think the room had recently been repainted and just power point plug ins and cable relocating was the problem.I fixed all issues myself but I was disappointed about the response.

My room smelled like cigarettes and asked for it to be cleaned/vented out… but no change after clean. The sink had a significant crack in it. It was noisy due to the construction work but also can easily hear conversation from next room. The staff was good in general, it just felt lacking and minimal service. For the price you pay for the hotel… you would get better service and better room somewhere else.

Perfectly clean and well appointed hotel, Staff were a bit disinterested and unhelpful. Parking (like everywhere in NOLA) is a rip off. Still it's walking distance from Canal St, French Quarter and Warehouse District and is central to the Trolley and Buses.
