My husband and I, arrived at 2;00 pm on the day of our reservation. first thing that we were told was,
It is too early to check in, they let us park the car in their parking lot. We took an UBER and went to have something to eat.. came back at 5:00 pm. We were told that our reservation was at a different location. Accordingly we attempted to go to the “correct” location, 600 US Route 1 & 9 South, which we were unable to locate. The traffic on that highway we found to be difficult to navigate, and appeared to be very dangerous for us as we were not from New Jersey. It seems to us that the hotel located at that location should have more visible signage so that other people can locate it more safely.
We are told to go back to the first location. We explain the situation, that we had been there and they had sent us to there location . By this time we are ready to give up.
We call Expedia, they reconfirm that our reservation are at the Court yard Marriott.
They give us a name of the woman they have spoken with. We go back to the first hotel and we are told that she had left for the day.
I was ready to scream by now. We are exhausted, my husband is 79, years old and I am 77. We just park in front of IHG One Rewards, and book another reservation.
It was less expensive by $60. And the staff was wonderful! We after calling for the third time to Expedia. We find out, that they have missed spelled our name in the reservation. It was a very bad experience. It was 9:30 by now
