Nice is nice. We were only in the city for 20 hours, but when (not if) we return, we'll definitely be staying at Hotel Byakko Nice! The staff at the desk were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the room was clean and spacious. It's close to the train station and tram stops, which makes it a very convenient hotel as well.

It has been a great experience staying at this hotel, close to the beaches and other attractions. Great breakfast with a great choice of food and drinks. Afternoon complementary coffee with deserts is a plus.

The hotel rooms are not the same as pictures on the website. Very old and dirty. We changed hotel to another as we checked in. Misleading pictures.

Good stay overall. There was a smell of sewage from the shower room on the first night. Housekeeping did not refill my hand soap. Walls are very thin, can hear many people in the halls.

The hotel staff was so accommodating and friendly which is why I like boutique hotels. They tend to focus on the customers more because they can do to not having an overwhelming amount of people staying. However, my room was ok but my bathroom was very dated. The surroundings areas outside was a little sketchy at night and sometimes during the day. I think Nice is really just a dirty place. Please consider this hotel is in the City Center, so that comes with high foot traffic as well as automobile traffic. As a result, you will notice trash everywhere as well as cigarette buds in front of the hotel. At night time, the receptionist has a push button entrance to let you inside the building. I’m assuming this is for safety and to keep the homeless people out. Overall, the stay was ok.

The hotel itself is great and in a good location. Easy 20 minute walk to Old Town and the beach, and 5 minutes to the train station for day trips out of the city. Bring earplugs though. The walls are thin and we had trouble sleeping between the street noise and fellow guests coming and going in the hallway.

The staff and the facilities are excellent. There was some construction underway in the hotel but they handled it well. Complimentary croissants, coffee and juice was a really nice touch to compensate for the construction disruption in normal breakfast operation. The only negative and the reason for a four star rating was the lack of consistent WIFI. In spite of this, I would highly recommend this hotel.

misrepresented:no laundry on site, no breakfast buffet, no luggage cart,no help with luggage specifically a young man watched me load my heavy luggage and made no offer to help. i am 75 and capable, but i found his lack of concern unacceptable! the female staff especially Lyna were very professional. parking was horrible. room was hardly big enough to turn around. no luggage stands. one plastic stool; no chairs! also a black young woman that delivered breakfast was extremely professional. the only reason we didn’t leave was because of the female staff. there was no area to eat breakfast. pictures of the facility showed a large commercial washing machine, a dining room with many chairs,a buffet breakfast, a large bedroom,a rooftop lounge, and many more misrepresentations. never again!

Enjoyed our stay
We have deluxe double at the new section so it is clean and newer. We paid $10 euro extra to get the private big terrance and it is well worth it! Adds so much more room to our space. We use it every day so I highly recommend it. The staff is very nice. One thing I want to say is the faucet is small and low to the sink so it is awkward to use the sink.

Hotels Byakko was amazing! Great location, great services and the staff were nothing but helpful and very informative of the local area. Not only did they give great recommendations for beaches and places to eat but helped us book those places as well.
