Functional is the best way to describe. The room should have been $100 cheaper for what it was. However, despite being in the middle of the CBD, there was minimal noise from outside the building—just from other guests entering or exiting their rooms as the doors were rather close together.

Room was adequate for one person... queen bed comfortable... en suite spotless... floor space adequate for one. Too small and dark to spend too much time in with another person. Staff very helpful and efficient. Great location in CBD. Disappointed that the cityscape view indicated on the website did not eventuate. My view was of a solid wall across the laneway where the rubbish skips were kept... and emptied at 3 am!!!

We stayed for 4 nights, and not once was the room made up or fresh towels supplied, rubbish emptied or coffee/tea replenished. I didn't actually see a cleaning cart or hear a vacuum cleaner the whole time I was there. That aside, the hotel is in a great location, and there is a good buffet breakfast.

Close to various malls in Melbourne , shops and trams. Walkable to so many places to eat or take out food. Suggestions for improvement: reception needs to be more personable and make you feel more welcoming. Although towels, tissues, toilet paper can be requested anytime and we stayed 5 nights, we felt that the room should be cleared of rubbish and cleaned more than just once
