Great value for the price

Overall a great place to stay to save a little money. Its location, which is a 5 minute walk from the beach, is why the price is less than comparable properties on the beach. The units are new and designed to be apartments so they are all suites. I originally booked an ocean view suite for 7 nights. A couple of months before my trip I changed it to 5 nights and didn't notice the room type got changed on me and I ended up with a ‘partial view.’ I tried to change it but it was past the change/cancellation date when I noticed. The ‘partial’ view meant an end unit facing the street. The hotel staff closed off the bedroom that might have had a partial view of the ocean with tape that said ‘additional charge incurred if tape is broken’ so I was stuck with the room facing the street. The traffic outside was really loud on weekend nights and early in the morning. The AM traffic noise helped me get up early to score a free beach chair and umbrella most days. There are about 40 chairs and 15 umbrellas for Radisson guests. The first morning I was there they were gone by 9am so I paid to rent a chair from the guys at Moomba Beach. Friday AM the free chairs lasted until around 9:15 and Saturday past 11am. Ramon, who works the beach, is great. The walk to the beach is truly only 5 minutes but if you feel ill, which happened to me when I got minor heat stroke the first day, it feels longer in hot Arubian sun. I’ll probably pay more to be directly on the beach next trip.

After a very poor experience at the Holiday Inn, front desk employee Jofre went above and beyond and helped us by showing us the room and hotel before we made the switch and we couldn’t have been happier. The property and rooms are far superior to the other hotels nearby and is extremely kid friendly. You can walk to the beach in a matter of minutes and honestly the dated nature of the area hotels do not make them worth the nightly rate they charge. We cannot thank the Radisson Blu and staff enough as they completely changed our first experience in Aruba for the better. Again many thanks.

I would like to thank all staff at the Radisson Blu great service everyone. Santos was my favorite he went above and beyond ! Hard worker and always had a smile on his face. I would recommend a coffee maker in room rather than the keurig it did not work well. Other than that great place to stay!

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Breakfast at Moombe and Hadicurari are great, they are right on the beach.

Great stay!

A beautiful hotel & friendly staff, super helpful concierge! The restaraunt on the top floor with infinity pool is anazing....especially at Sunset. It has a cute coffee shop also. Very close to all the action in Noord. The only disadvatage is its a few blocks from the beach. They do orovide a shuttle. No big deal to walk though! Loved it & would definately stay again!!

The property itself was beautiful.. the staff excellent.. sonia and santos could not do enough for you… however, they offer beach shuttle service which is supposed to come every 30 min did not… the beach is a 10 min walk … many of the guests including myself found ourselves walking…. The chairs at the beach were supposed to be first come first serve but by the time you get there no chairs.. there were many empty chairs but we were told they were reserved… that was not first come basis… we had to rent … those chairs were empty the whole day! Also… the bar closes at 8p! So for those that want to hang out and have a few, meet people , forget it.. that’s not the place… i’ve been to Aruba 4 times.. i have loved everyplace i’ve stayed… i doubt i would stay here again at radisson blu..
