The lodge is new and nicely located in the middle of the park. You can walk from your room to the rim of the canyon for great views of the Yellowstone River and the falls. Rooms have a refrigerator but no microwave. However the cafeteria nearby has one guests can use. Our visit was in mid-October so there was no crowd and the lodge was quiet with only a few guests.
It’s a nice hotel on a great location bit there is no TV, no microwave, and no AC! Coffee should always be free and available to hotel guests.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Bathroom had mold and dirt in the tiles and grout the bedding was old and uncomfortable the blankets were thin and not warm not enough pillows... Not enough furniture for convenient placement of suitcases and clothing
It felt like you are staying in a motel specially after paying $500/ night. This was the only thing available to stay inside the park. So cannot complain. WiFi was available and worked fine. To see the park I highly recommend staying inside the park. The dining place was around a 10 min walk or 5 minute drive by car. The food in dining hall was like a big cafeteria with self service. Food was mediocre but that was the only option available. But the Yellowstone park is worth the visit. It is a paradise.
Very nice setting. We had to walk 1/2 mile to the eating lodge and meals were not very good. The coffee in the lodge was not very good either. The facility was clean and comfortable.
The property is beautiful, comfortable, modern, and tasteful to the average person. The only problem we encountered was at the hotel cafe next to the reservation desk. We were standing at the cash register to pay for a Coke and the young man (boy) staffing the Cafe just walked away for his break and left us standing there.
