Nicole at the front desk was rude and unreasonably authoritative. Despite being a Hilton Honors member, she showed no interest in acknowledging my membership because I had booked through Expedia. She neither asked for nor looked up my membership information, and she informed me that I would not receive any Hilton benefits.
I requested a room not facing the cemetery side, but Nicole curtly replied that I should return after 3 PM, and she might have a room then. Additionally, I requested a first-floor room due to my need for a mobile scooter, but she showed no concern or effort to accommodate this. When we returned after 3 PM, we were given a room on the second floor.
Overall, Nicole was very business-like, lacking any courtesy or professionalism expected in the hospitality industry. On a positive note, the pool experience was great, and breakfast was good.
