Excellent Stay on Oak Island

The property was clean. As advertised, it was a short walk to the beach, and the ocean was viewable from the front deck. It is convenient to shopping and dining, and our guests enjoyed their stay. However, the pictures on the site do not accurately portray the size or ambiance. It is a bit smaller than expected and considerably darker inside. These are very minor detractions. All the appliances are in good working order, the kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are comfortable. If renting in the cooler months, be sure to bring extra blankets. We would consider renting this property again.

Great Stay

Calico Cat was a terrific place to spend spring break. Very convenient to everything my teenagers could want; beach access and places to fish all within a short walk. View from the large front porch was great for parents and grandparents too! Recommended!
