My daughter attends college nearby, so I’ve stayed a few times but this my first review. I’ve always enjoyed my stay! The staff are helpful and friendly. I’m a picky eater (not a fan of meat or eggs), and I’ve still been able to enjoy the selection of breakfast foods. This time, I’ve got to give a SHOUT OUT to Stewart at the front desk. It’s great to experience a professional individual, but when their ATTENTION to detail to make your experience even better, that’s the best. My daughter’s graduation weekend was so wonderful. Thanks, Hyatt Place!

Convenient hotel in Emeryville-
Nice convenient hotel. Rooms are nice but parking is pricy, very limited in the hotel lot, and very inconvenient if the lot is full… especially if you have a moderate amount of luggage. Decent breakfast

Overall experience was great. Room was clean enough for me, free breakfast, and staff were nice. Only thing I would complain is my toilet seat was loose and wobbly so I have to screw it back with my keys… not very family friendly as they don’t have things to accommodate a family traveling with an infant, such as hot water kettle or small tubs(some of the other places we stayed did offer these).

Overall, a pleasant stay in one of the better locations in the Oakland area for both convenience to highways and amenities. Bay Street in Emeryville offers excellent shopping, restaurants and even a movie theatre just away from the hotel. We had a house keeping mishap and hotel management was quick to resolve it for us.
