We reserved a hotel room in the Economy Lodge in Ocala, Orlando Fl and when we arrived it was being remodeled and they charge me for the whole price for nothing, we had spend the night on the road.
We had a Expedia confirmation but when we arrived, they told us there was no room and it was expedia’s Fault. The hotel looks like it needs a lot of work and is very run down. We were happy to leave and find alternate accommodations.
They refused to check me in, they said ‘i apologize but our computers are down and We have no rooms, We are 100% sold out. They will give you a full refund.’
They booked me and when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that there was no vacancy that I have to call Expedia and cancel my reservation. I called Expedia to cancel my reservation for the hotel and guess what they didn't answer and charge me for the night anyway. So upset with the whole ordeal...

Place needs a lot of work the manager tries hard to keep everyone happy .
When I saw the condition of the hotel and how much junk was all over I did not stay there. I went to another hotel. This place was absolutely disgusting. It looked like a slump. I don't recommend it at all. Doesn't look like the pictures and isn't worth the money they are asking. I felt very dirty and unsafe just by pulling into the parking lot.
First off got to place looked ok went to office lady let me in gave confirmation number said i was charged already she went to bathroom an came back with a key an said 1 day or two i said i paid for one never looked at my id at all just gave key an said have a good night went to room looked back she was coming she says oh that room didnt have towels an toilet paper mind u i had 2 in my party she left 1 towel 1 rag 1 floormat rm seemed ok i reserved double bed got a full bed which was worn out really felt springs didnt have extra or i would have left about 1 woke up saw 4 small roaches killed them im not proud but for 63 dollars thats bs turned on lights to really look got spider webs on celling by restroom we checked out at 8 cause room was so cold cause thin dirty blanket an two fitted sheets then i realized this is a motel for people who get high they too stoned to know difference an for check out u just put key in a black mail box cause office isnt open yet smh never again better to sleep in car
Stay was terrible hotel was ruined down and customer service was rude. left after one hour and requested refund. I would suggest hotel.com to take hotel off their listing! TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
Nice, only if you don't have any other options. Friendly staff, but the rooms are not clean nor comfortable.

They had no room for me; double booked.
I drove 150 miles to find that I had no room; no trace of me in the computer. Expedia had given me a confirmation number but the hotel had no trace of it. The manager was courteous and empathetic but had no room for us. He wrote a letter so that I may prove my situation. I did not get to see a room and thus I can't rate the rooms.
Never stayed in a hotel so dirty in my life. Seems it has no mainteinace or renovation for decades. Just stayed since was my only option to flee the hurricane.
The smell of the room was intense. We had to wait til three to check in because the front desk was the housekeeper to. Bugs in windows no drapes or curtains. Blinds torn don't recommend.
Horrible because I didn't even get to stay in it after 45 minutes and he walked me to check out room. He said I had to look for another place because the people in my car was too loud. I hadn't taken them home from the wedding we attended. I want my money back asap because I had to go find another hotel at 9pm
Upon arrival. The room had carpet just installed. Filthy. No bed. No dresser. NOTHING. We were assured the room would be ready by 5. Since check in time was 3pm. Hmmm....Paint rollers in shower. Air compressor on floor. More paint rollers on the toilet. Well...the air conditioner was just bought that day. Never less did not stay. Waste of time and money.
The room we had (#12 ) was newly renovated and we were the first ones to stay in there, although they were not 100% completed (drapes not hung but blinds were up, pictures not hung) we enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very nice and attentive.

they do the best with what they got, it's actually more like a motel
the room was nasty!!!! dirty!!! I'm being nice. i would rather sleep in my car. i did not stay the night. i was certain my car or me would be vandalized.
I forgot to bring my confirmation, but thought I had already paid in full. Economy said I owed the whole 2 nights, so I paid it figuring I'd sort that out later. The room was supposed to have 2 double beds and only had one. The room was dingy and dirty and had missing baseboard. We decided we could not stay there, so they agreed to refund the 2 nights and then 2 days later they charged me another $50. When I called to see what that was for they said we stole the towels! Why would I steal paper thin stained towels! Now I'm out 2 nights plus $50.00.

Hotel going through redevelopment.
The new manager said they have just taken over and was in the process of renovating the place. The manager put us in a room where the microwave wasn't working. The manager said to hold on and he would be right back. 30 minutes later the manager returns with a new microwave he just purchased. I admired how hard the manager worked with providing us with good customer service.
