This reminded us of a heritage place in Galway-- a bit dated and small, but cozy and right on the beach. Beautiful lobby and deck area. The rooms and ceiling of deck could use some sprucing and cleaning up. Beds and bath were clean, windows and screens need a power wash.

Anniversary trip

We were extremely satisfied with our stay especially the upgrade from economy to standard room. Only wished we would have had one bed instead of two. Also was a little disappointed fruit was not available in the lobby as in years past. Also in all was a fantastic stay. Cannot wait until next year. You have an awesome staff and thoroughly enjoyed spending our 44th anniversary there!”

The overall entrance on the boardwalk was amazing, the lobby area was again amazing. The rooms were different, our room was 2 double beds, very small, room definitely had mildew, was not clean,

The staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel is very dated and in need of upgrades. The halls are narrow and the walls are very thin so it’s loud. Location is great though.

The bathrooms are so small, especially the shower, you can only wash one side then you have to turn to wash the other. It wasn't like they advertised it. But I liked it was right on the boardwalk.

It’s a tired old hotel. The rooms is very small. When you’re standing in the bathroom, you can stretch your arms out and touch both walls and that’s the toilet shower and vanity. Be careful when you sit on the toilet you’ll hit your head on the vanity. The hotel was not clean. The towels and wash clothes are very thin and cheap. Pool towels are like tissue paper. The only thing that hotel has going for it is it’s at 15th St. right on the boardwalk.

There are good and bad things about the property, first the cleanliness when you enter the 1st floor, with the sand in the elevator was okay the first time but it not being cleaned each day was upsetting. The front desk associates were nice and greeted you when you are in the lobby. When were given our room the musty smell of wet carpet was very pungent when the room was closed, which lead us to open the windows for fresh air. Carpets need to be replaced based on being a hotel close to the beach and wet floors/carpets after some time does give a smell. Based on the note from housekeeping, stated the room would be cleaned daily but it wasn't only bed made up one day, and no carpet cleaning. Walls are thin so you hear whoever is outside or next to your room. Update your TV to Smart TV where it can be used for different live stream or guest can use their apps to watch movies. Pool was great but note the bar only takes Venmo or Cash which made it difficult for someone who doesn't carry cash or use Venmo.

Rooms are not clean, mattresses are awful and need replaced, rooms are extremely small and smelled musty. Extremely convenient to boardwalk and beach with an awesome fron porch view.
