Single mom with three kids weekend getaway
Yea the motel is old..but rumor has it, its slated to get upgrades. The hallway carpets are stained but we heard the replacement is pretty. The room is dated especially the bathroom and kitchen area, but they did their jobs. The location is at the state line and we will able to walk to putt putt and restaurants. Free breakfast too.
The room was perfect for our stay--except there were ants in the bathroom and it looked as if the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned in awhile. When we put the mat on the floor, it turned gray when it got wet. And because we had just taken a shower, we knew our feet were clean. Other than that, it was fine.

The hotel staff were great, however our room was full of black mold on the walls and ceiling. Worse, there was what appeared to be sticky, bodily fluids on the bedding.
I got there they overbooked so had no where to stay

Room was decent but toilet seat was cracked and bathtub had a used soap, mostly from the previous guest
Staff- some were happy spared a smile some did not,
No proper service like replacing items at breakfast
Breakfast- very less items corn flakes was soggy, milk was over and it took more than 20 minutes for the staffs to refill, ultimately had to eat out for breakfast
I would not recommend nor ever stay at this hotel again. Everything was very dirty, yet, there were about 10 staff in the both mornings we were there hanging out in the lobby and outside the front door. The room had a terrible smell so we had to leave the door open. The bedding was dirty and had holes. I requested the sheets be changed but they never did. The hotel was in very bad shape and in dire need of many repairs.
The rooms are partially renovated. Kitchen was in bad shape. The microwave was rusty. The stove top smoked when I turned on any burner and they didn’t set flat. Our ceiling had spots all over it which looked like mold. Our AC was running rough so I checked the filter and it was black and full of dust. I would have needed Clorox to remove the mold from the filter. The bathroom fan needed cleaned to work properly as well.
The staff was very very nice and the girls did well at cleaning the rooms. They really need a maintenance person to keep up on all those other details that fall under cleaning They need more work done to the place than new beds and counters only. And the hall carpets needed cleaned really bad or replaced.
We love the location but it would be nice to see some improvements made at the hotel.
