Felt like area was pretty safe, but did see a few homeless individuals walking around. Inside facility was clean, but could use a little updating. Ceiling texture was coming off, tub was older and stained. Overall, these things didn't affect a positice stay. Great amenities in the rooms. Staff was excellent! Breakfast was good.

Shame on Hilton - This Property Should Be Retired
First, the lady at the front desk was super nice when we checked in. She was by the far the classiest act in this place. The property looks updated on the outside, but the inside is a relic from years gone by. All the furniture needs to be replaced or refinished - just terrible. The couch was heavily stained, ceiling was messed up where it looked like something had leaked years before, but never refinished, the AC looked terrible, sink was chipped and cracked, milk machine in kitchen was broken with milk sitting on top of ice and not surrounded by ice. Just simply terrible. I have been staying at Hampton and Hilton for years. This property should have lost it's flag years ago - shame on you Hilton!
Elevators from the dinosaur age and in poor condition.

Overall very poor condition not worthy of Hampton name. Ceiling issues.
AC unit looked like it about 5-years past retirement. Also boxed in raw wood at bottom (not shown).

It’s looking a bit old and sad with cracks in the walls in the room which had been badly repaired and painted with paint that didn’t match the rest. Bottom fitted sheet was too small. Elevator doors badly scratched on the inside. Carpet squares in the room were frayed. Fridge was very noisy. However, breakfast was great!

What happened?
I've been to this hotel many times, and the service has really gone downhill. Within the last year, I've witnessed a front desk worker taking personal calls on the phone instead of helping guests checking in, teenagers trying to break into a room, and cleaning staff playing in the hallway instead of cleaning. On my last visit, I was told a late checkout of even one hour wasn't allowable due to being short-staffed. Maybe the staff you have should do their jobs and then it probably wouldn't be a problem. I travel all over the world, and by no means am I picky when it comes to hotels. But there should at least be a basic standard of service maintained by the management.
