My intention was to access my room to recharge our phones. However, the reception staff informed me that my associate would require identification to use the elevator and enter the room. I acknowledge that hotel policy, in compliance with Barcelona regulations, mandates identification for all guests and residents to access rooms. Nevertheless, I found the receptionist's demeanor to be abrupt and aggressive in conveying this policy. I did inspect the room, and it met the expected standards of cleanliness and tidiness for a four-star establishment. The hotel also offers various activities, which require inquiry. Due to the interaction with the receptionist, I opted not to stay at the hotel and secured alternative accommodations, despite the hotel's otherwise commendable quality.
Locating the hotel can be challenging without a charged mobile device. I recommend utilizing the transportation services offered by the hotel, as its location is somewhat disorienting with limited public transport access.
