I needed to add my wife to reservation because she was flying in and would b at the hotel 3 hours before me, i talked to the front desk on phone and lady was very rude. I explained my situation with her that wife would b there early however they said she could not check in unless she had a credit card in her name, mind you i already paid for room which was non refundable, i explained all xards were in my name, and still yet she could not check in. So i had to eat the money i spent on room and booked with the westin in memphis. I will never book a stay at a hampton inn ever...

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It is the perfect location if Beale street is YOUR destination. It is one of the few hotels I have stayed in ( within recent years) that still have balconies. The room was spacious. The balcony was sizeable.The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and included hot oatmeal, not oatmeal packets. The hotel provided ear plugs . For some people , it may be too loud. For us, we came for the music! Even so, I did not find the hotel loud. When ever I come to Memphis, this is where I will stay. ( as long as they still have balconies)

Poor Service for Handicapped Guests
I am handicapped and requested an accessible room, we were put in a hearing accessible room, which did not meet ADA requirements for a physically handicapped person. Also, I was stuck in the lift that was supposed to allow my mobility device to access the main Hotel entrance. The desk person had to bring it back to the top and it took sometime to unlock the door so I could get out. The attitude of the desk personel was not overly helpful. Also the daily parking fee was $15 higher than what was quoted to me on the phone. When I brought it to their attention, they were not that concerned. If you have mobility issues, I would not suggest staying here

All was well except for the air conditioning. It did not work. We never got our room below 74 degrees. 10 degrees cooler in hallways.

Elevator did not work in the parking garage. The room was not clean popcorn kernels were on the floor pillow cases smelled like dirty hair the carpet was torn the elevator looked dirty the check host was on her phone when we approached her for check out was not friendly

I have stay at many hotels but wont be staying here anymore. I had a suite and the room was hot . I keep a cold house and expect my hotel room to be cool and comfortable. The temperature was on 71 but felt like 80 to me . I called the front desk and they sent maintenace but he didnt do anything. He was unprofessional. He didnt want to answer our questions about temperature being set in room why we couldnt decrease air. He just never said nothing but it that he fixed it . We knew it was preset! I paid almost 1000.00 for friday and sat to stay here! I will never again. The room was still warm The only comvience about it was I could walk to the fedex forum for the concert I attended.
