While the front desk staff deserves a 5-star rating, everything else is subpar.
1. You cannot order room service - at all! There is a rooftop bar but it is not open 24/7 and they may run out of food. They have a breakfast bar in the morning but no restaurant.
2. You may die of heat stroke in the elevators - NO AIR in Jul/Aug heat in Memphis!
3. They are pet friendly - a plus to some; a negative to others. Pet friendly guests should have their own section of rooms never to be shared with non-pet guests.
4. Their is no full length mirror in the room. In fact, I reserved a King Junior Suite and there was only ONE (1) mirror in the room and that was in the bathroom.
5. Even though the lobby, hallways, elevators and my room, upon check-in, were clean, you have to request housekeeping services by 11 pm the night BEFORE you want your room attended. The services rendered do not match the quality of service experienced at comparable hotels. For example, the soiled towels, hand towels and face cloths were removed from the room but clean ones were not provided. The bathroom was not cleaned, soaps were not replenished, tissues were not restocked, etc. Obvious trash left in a bag beside the trash can was not removed from the room though the trash can was dumped. The sinks and countertops were not cleaned or even wiped down.
6. When I requested fresh towels, I had to go down to the front desk to retrieve them myself. They were not delivered to my room.
7. No hotel buzzer or keyless entry
